Accommodation overview: This beautifully appointed single storey cottage with its delightful sea and countryside views is over 100 years old and has lovely feature stone walls reflecting its history. As its name suggests, Gardeners Cottage was the former residence of the gardener of Ardmillan Castle located just over a couple of miles from Girvan in Ayrhsire. 400 years ago the castle was described thus, Castle of Ardmillan looked like a palace with its deep cut ditch, its large courtyard, its capacities for siege-standing, its early pears and apples. Originally a fishing port, Girvan is now a small seaside resort and during the summer it is possible to sail around local landmarks on the lovely paddle steamer, the Waverley.

Accommodation overview: These four holiday cottages on a 200 acre working farm and enjoy panoramic views over the Firth of Clyde to Ailsa Craig, the Mull of Kintyre and the Antrim mountains of Northern Ireland. 1/2 mile from the ancient fishing village of Ballantrae and 15 mins. drive from Girvan, a popular seaside town, the farm includes 1 1/2 miles of beach and seashore accessed by a short path from the main road below the cottages, perfect for walking and swimming. Local facilities include fishing, golf, sailing and horse-racing at Ayr. Shops and pub1/2 mile.
The cottages stand near farm buildings at the top of a small incline, 300 metres from the road, with safely enclosed gardens to the rear for which garden furniture is provided.
The cottage interiors are bright and sunny, with simple furnishings in homely style, ideal for a relaxed family holiday.

These two semi-detached cottages can be linked by a connecting door in the bunk bedroom to sleep up to 11 plus 2 babies, although we recommend a maximum of 4 adults in each cottage.

Accommodation overview: Enjoying panoramic views towards the Firth of Clyde, this detached bungalow is part of a working farm with acres of glorious pastures and woodland on the banks of the tranquil Water of Coyle. The farm actively encourages wildlife and is home to a wide range of mammals and birds. There is a sheltered, enclosed garden where guests can enjoy summer barbecues as they watch magnificent sunsets over the Isle of Arran. The bungalow is very comfortable, cosy and welcoming and is accessed by a private road - children can cycle or play in safety. For guests wishing to bring a horse, stabling and grazing can be arranged.
The village of Coylton (2 miles) has pubs, shops, chemist, games hall and gym. A short drive leads to the delightful town of Ayr with its many golf courses, beaches and extensive shopping. Excellent fishing is available as well as designated cycle routes, horse-riding and scenic walks.

Accommodation overview: Situated amongst the rolling hills of the Stinchar Valley but a short distance from the idyllic rural village of Barr, this detached, newly renovated farm cottage is built to a very high standard for those seeking quality accommodation during their holiday break. The rooms are very bright and spacious with wonderful rural views from every window. The property is on 2 levels and there is a small courtyard with outdoor seating and parking for 3 vehicles.
From here you can enjoy walking and cycling in the Galloway Forest Park, or fishing in the River Stinchar (permit required). Culzean Castle and Country Park is 30 minutes drive away as are several places of interest on the Burns Heritage Trail. Turnberry Golf Course is world famous and there is also other courses to choose from. Village shop 3/4 mile, main shopping in the seaside towns of Girvan or Ayr, where there is a race course with regular popular race meetings in season.
