Accommodation overview: This former farm workers cottage dating back over 250 years has been sympathetically restored to offer cosy and characterful accommodation location at the foot of Blencathra, 5 miles from Keswick. Threlkeld is steeped in history with its church dating back to 1573 and its two pubs back to 1688.The pubs serve good food and real ale and are only a few minutes walk from the cottage. Blease Cottage is an ideal location to enjoy the peaceful countryside with its many walks from the door, as well as golf and cycling opportunities.There is walking from the cottage to suit all, a level railway path into Keswick, walks on the fells around the village and more challenging walks up onto Blencathra and Skiddaw.
