Accommodation overview: This substantial 5 bedroom former farmhouse enjoys a truly idyllic setting, nestling into the fells in St Johns in the Vale, one of the most tranquil areas of the Lake District. Lowthwaite Farmhouse underwent considerable refurbishment by the new owners in 2010 to create a stunning self catering farmhouse of superior quality, which has the benefit of lovely fell views, a garden and ample parking. There are delightful walks in the valley and more strenuous walks on the surrounding fells. Threlkeld village is only 2 miles and has 2 pubs, both serve good food and one has a restaurant.
