Nestled on the Jurassic Coast (England's first natural World Heritage Site), this unique stretch of coastline has joined the ranks of the Great Barrier Reef and the Grand Canyon as one of the wonders of the natural world, and is famous for fossils and day to day there are many new discoveries which are constantly being uncovered, including exceptionally well preserved dinosaurs and dinosaur footprints. Lyme Regis is only a short drive away and offers an unspoilt seafront with sheltered south-facing beaches and provides a perfect environment in which children can play and adults can relax in the traditional deckchairs that still line the promenade in summer. Many boat excursions run from the ancient harbour for pleasure and fishing trips. The Estate boasts 350 acres of land, and direct access to the Axmouth to Lyme Regis Undercliffs National Nature Reserve, where wild deer, foxes, rabbits and squirrels can often be seen. There are many attractions in the area including the theme and country park at Cricket St Thomas, the charming resorts of Beer, Seaton, Sidmouth, Branscombe and numerous National Trust properties and gardens to name but a few. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 double room with distant sea views and en-suite hand basin and WC, 1 twin room (2'6" beds). A small flight of stairs takes you to 1 additional double room. Bathroom: adjacent upstairs double with shower over bath and WC. Shower room adjacent the twin room with WC and heated towel rail. Downstairs WC. Lounge: with TV, DVD and hi-fi. Entrance dining hall. The elegantly furnished property is the perfect holiday home for beach lovers, explorers of Thomas Hardy country or the New Forest/Isle of Wight area and for all 3 generation family groups or guests with restricted mobility. Close by are superb cliff top walks, National Trust properties with beautiful gardens and numerous attractions including Bucklers Hard, Beaulieu, Paulton's Park, Alice in Wonderland Family Park, and Christchurch Priory. Christchurch offers shops, restaurants, cinema and leisure facilities. In the evening you could BBQ in Seaways fully enclosed private garden with seating and summer house, or just stroll to the local pub. Seaways has FOUR bedrooms: 1 ground floor super-king-size or twin with en-suite shower room and WC and double doors opening straight onto the fully enclosed rear patio/garden. Upstairs is 1 double, 1 twin and 1 bunk bedroom. Bathroom: family size with shower over bath and WC. Separate WC off entrance hall.
