Originally built in 1869 for the village school mistress, the house has been renovated, having interiors which are both pretty and contemporary. The Donnington Way and Heart of England Way run along the nearby lane providing marvellous walking in peaceful countryside, yet the house is only 1 mile from the inns and restaurants of Stow-on-the-Wold, a pleasant stroll using the recently constructed Millennium footpath.
