Accommodation overview: This attractive detached cottage dating from the 1930s sits in a pleasant, private enclosed garden to front and rear, which looks towards the golf course, steam railway and the hills behind. It has been sympathetically renovated featuring wood panelling in some rooms and an open fire in the lounge. From here, French doors open out into the rear garden where garden furniture is provided. The rooms are spacious and sunny with bright, comfortable furnishings and a pleasant, welcoming ambience. Ramp access.
The cottage lies in the Cairngorm National Park and is an ideal base to explore the area. It is situated within the village and in easy walking distance of local facilities such as the Steam Railway station, golf course, tennis courts, hotel, restaurant and shops. The village is on the Speyside Way and is popular with walkers. The Loch Garten RSPB reserve is closeby where the ospreys can been seen and the whole area is ideal for birdwatchers. There are facilities nearby for cycling, fishing, pony trekking, water sports, climbing and snow sports.

Accommodation overview: In a picturesque setting, surrounded by trees and bracken on a 10 acre wooded hillside, these 4 pine chalets each have their own private position with views to trees and some have a lovely outlook over Loch Meiklie to the hills beyond. This is a quiet location with stunning scenery and there are many beautiful walks to enjoy. Birds and wildlife are abundant in the area and a boat is available to visitors for trout fishing on Loch Meiklie. This is a good centre for touring, just 5 miles from Loch Ness, 20 miles from Inverness, with Fort William and the North West Coast easily accessible.
The chalets all have pine interiors and provide comfortable, well-appointed holiday accommodation. Managed by the resident owners, the chalets are reached by a fairly steep narrow track and each has a parking space. The Steading Bar/Restaurant is at the park entrance. Shops 5 miles, tea room 1 mile for meals/takeaways.

The cottages at Lochanhully are Scandinavian chalet style with a rustic feel - pine clad and pine finished throughout - double glazed and fully insulated for all year round comfort. Set amidst a large woodland area with ponds and ducks, the chalets are quite privately situated and are reached by paths through the woods. Parking for one car beside each chalet.
Lochanhully is an excellent choice for families, with activities for all ages, a daily programme of events and evening entertainment. The Kidz Club provides supervised daytime activities for 5-11 year olds.
