The historic city of Cambridge is around 25 miles drive away and is famous for its university, its archictecture, museums, botanic gardens and art galleries; visitors can also try their hand at punting on the River Cam or enjoy a wealth of restaurants, pubs and theatres. Peterborough, just 14 miles drive to the north, offers many amenities, including its magnificent cathedral, shops, restaurants and bars as well as theatres, cinema and greyhound stadium.
