Visit Reculver Country Park which offers lovely walks from Bishopstone to the ruins of a Roman fort and Saxon church.
The Towers were taken over by Trinity House to keep them as a landmark for sailors. The Country Park is renowned for its migrating birds boasting more than 150 different species. Cycle along the coast path from either Birchington or Herne Bay.
Herne Bay is 3 miles has clean beaches and is ideal for windsurfing, sailing and jet skiing. Take a boat trip from here to see the dolphins and seals. Visit Wildwood Trust on the edge of the Forest of Blean, discovering Britain’s changing wildlife. The historic city of Canterbury is approximately 10 miles. Shop 1 mile.
