Accommodation overview: The village of Belhaven, on the outskirts of the Royal Burgh of Dunbar, provides a peaceful retreat with lovely countryside and sea shore walks. This is one of the 3 areas in Scotland renowned for the longest hours of sunshine and the lowest rainfall. The lovely sandy beach of Belhaven Bay is within 100 yards and leads to the John Muir Country Park, a conserved wildlife habitat with extensive woodland walks. Dunbar has a lovely swimming/leisure pool and 2 golf courses.
This traditional sandstone cottage has been completely modernised and an architect designed extension provides spacious and light living areas. There is an attractive enclosed garden with garden furniture and barbecue. From the original cottage, steps lead down into the large kitchen with an attractive dining area and patio doors out to the garden. A timber stair leads up from the dining area to a gallery with coombed ceiling and lovely views to the sea and Bass Rock.
Edinburgh is only 20 minutes by train or 40 minutes by car. Nearest shop 1/2 mile with main shops in Dunbar.

Accommodation overview: These two excellent properties are ideally situated for family holidays within a few minutes walk of the village centre and the long sandy beach for which Gullane is renowned. The owner would be pleased to organise golf on various local courses by prior arrangement. The surrounding area offers excellent leisure and recreational facilities for all ages and abilities. Edinburgh is approximately 1/2 hour by car. Gullane has a selection of shops and friendly hotels serving food.

Accommodation overview: Goose Cottage is a delightful terraced, converted stone steading, situated in the countryside within the heart of West Lothian. This is a fantastic location giving you wonderful countryside views, overlooking rolling fields but also with easy access to public transport and motorways to explore further afield. Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling are a half hour drive away and Perthshire can be reached within an hour. The cottage is attractively presented, with good attention to detail. The lounge has a leather sofa and two easy chairs. The lounge and kitchen are open plan and boasts a wood burning stove. A picture window looks out into the west facing courtyard. The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped and from here there is access onto the private, fully enclosed east facing garden. From the garden you are looking out onto open countryside and on a clear day you can see Arthurs Seat at Edinburgh. Both first floor bedrooms are beautifully coordinated and have coombed ceilings with velux windows. This lovely cottage sits in a quiet converted steading and is only a short drive from shops and eateries.

Accommodation overview: One of the most attractive cottages in the picturesque village of St. Abbs, this charming detached house nestles into the hillside above the harbour. The cliffs to the north are home to a variety of sea birds and a nature reserve has been set up there. St Abbs is still an active fishing harbour and is also a diving centre. There are lovely coastal walks and plenty of places of interest to visit. This old fisherman's cottage has lovely views to the sea - smaller side windows face the harbour and the owner thoughtfully provides a telescope for visitors to watch all the quayside activities. The cottage is light, airy and comfortable, with much homely character and charm, ideal for a family holiday. At the front of the cottage, beside a path down to the harbour, there is a patio area with garden seat, a sun-trap for outdoor relaxing. Visitors park up the hill and walk down the path (30 yards) to reach the cottage. Shops 100 yards.
