Accommodation overview: Acorn Cottage is located in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, in the popular village of Aberfoyle. This single storey cottage is beautifully presented, with great attention to details. The lounge has two leather sofas, a large wood burning stove and large picture windows making the room bright and airy. There is a large kitchen, fully fitted and well equipped with a dining area. The kitchen has access straight onto the decking at the side of the property leading to a spacious garden with raised patio area. From the back of the garden there is direct access onto the hillside and ancient woodland. Both bedrooms are beautifully co ordinated, with satellite TV and DVD. This fantastic cottage is nestled down a quiet lane yet only 500 yards from all the village amenities. Guests of Acorn Cottage are welcome to the use of free river and loch side fishing. Accommodation overview: Originally built as a stable for the main house in 1850 and converted to a dwelling in 1925, this detached stone built cottage has been fully refurbished and has much traditional charm. The open plan interior features exposed beams and sanded floors and the compact cosy rooms have a continental feel and comfortable furnishings. There are two terraces with garden table and chairs.
The small town of Auchterarder has a rich historic past and is well placed between Stirling and Perth to enjoy the fine scenery and recreational pursuits of Strathearn. The area is a perfect base for touring the Trossachs, Highland Perthshire and the famous Gleneagles hotel and golf courses are close to hand. There is something for all the family to enjoy from abseiling and parachute jumping to trekking and hill walking. Golf and fishing are readily available. The cottage is situated up a small pedestrian lane off the main street in the village with shops and pub/hotels nearby. Street parking.

Accommodation overview: In a very peaceful location overlooking the magnificent Braes O'Balquhidder in Scotland's first National Park, these six excellent cottages are situated in the grounds of the Kingshouse Hotel, 150 metres from the main road. This is the heart of Rob Roy country, at the foot of the Strathyre Forest. The hotel is family run and all facilities are available to cottage guests including two bars serving bar meals. Fishing permits for numerous lochs and rivers can be arranged at the hotel, as can other sporting activities, whilst the mountains in the area provide ample scope for hillwalking and climbing. Watersports, including ski-ing, sailing, parascending and windsurfing can be enjoyed at Lochearnhead (3 miles). There are 10 golf courses within easy reach. This is also an excellent centre for touring, within an hour's drive of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth, Oban, Fort William and Loch Lomond. Shops 2 miles.
Each of these detached cottages is well-insulated and cosy, with comfortable furnishings. The cottages all have views to the hills and all accommodation is on ground level. Private parking and shared garden.

Accommodation overview: Mill House Annex is situated in a very unique location on the very banks of the River Endrick near the hamlet of Gartness, on the edge of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. Mill House Annex dates back to the 1800s when it once was a working mill producing textiles. The water wheel has long gone but evidence of the water ways and structures can still be seen. The property is quaint and quirky with thick walls, floors which run off at different angles, ceilings of varying heights and even a few stone steps to take you up from the lounge into the kitchen area. Stable doors lead out to an open mature garden area and the river side is only 3 metres away.
