Here visitors can discover the Isle's stunning landscape of rugged mountains tumbling rivers and spectacular coastline that is home to bountiful wildlife fine museums and craft centres. A shop post office and pub serving food can be found in Shiel Bridge 5 miles.

Drumbeg (2 miles away), is a small crofting township and makes a wonderful base to explore some of the most dramatic scenery in Scotland - the complex geology of Knockan Crag attracts enthusiasts from around the world and the Suilven and Quinag mountain ranges are excellent challenges for experienced hill-walkers. The Island of Handa is a nature reserve and boat trips can be taken to see the spectacular seabird colonies. Trout and salmon fishing can be arranged locally, Lochinver is a busy fishing port and the area boasts some wonderful beaches to explore on sunny days.
