In a quiet village location within the owners' grounds the cottages are just 3 miles from the market town of Appleby which comes alive every June with its famous gypsy horse fair. Here there are some lovely shops and excellent inns and restaurants. The Eden Valley area popular with walkers and ornithologists also offers mountain biking pony trekking tennis riding and golf. The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach. Shops 3 miles. Local pub 200 yards.
