At Colintraive you can take the short ferry crossing over to the Isle of Bute and a visit to the fabulous Victorian Gothic Mount Stuart House is a must. Tighnabruaich has a RYA sailing school and a selection of small shops. Over at Otter Ferry, the Estate offers seasonal sporting activities. Travel slightly further afield to Dunoon where there is a good centre for shopping, leisure facilities and a small cinema to enjoy. Inveraray is also a great day out with the Castle and its 19th century jail. The Cowal Peninsula is a fantastic peaceful and accessible location to relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life or for the more adventurous, explore and find hidden treasures.
