Accommodation overview: Enjoying spectacular views over to the Isle of Bute, this delightful, detached holiday home exudes a charm all of its own. It is beautifully situated on the eastern shoreline of the 'Kyles of Bute' and simply offers peace and tranquility, away from the stresses of everyday life. There are private, enclosed gardens on either side, to sit and watch the spectacular sunsets over Bute and garden furniture is provided. A delightful little babbling brook skirting the garden, along with the birdsong, are the only sounds to disturb the peace. The beach is accessed through a grassed meadow in front of the cottage.
The property is centrally located for day trips including Inveraray. Oban and Tighnabruaich or for a day at the new 'state of the art' Portavadie Marina which has access to some of the best sailing waters for every level of enthusiast. Excellent outdoor activities in the area include fishing, cycling, hill walking and golf. The local pub/hotel is a short stroll away serving some of the best seafood in the area.

A children's farm park and charming model village are found nearby and a little further along the coast the Anglesey Sea Zoo the largest marine aquarium in Wales provides a fascinating insight into the life around our shores and a great family day out whatever the weather. The elegant town of Beaumaris (8 miles) as well as being the setting for a splendid castle built by Edward I and the excellent Museum of Childhood is the place to head for puffin and seal watching cruises one of the highlights of a holiday on Anglesey. Golf riding and walking are all enjoyed locally and Snowdonia with its wealth of outdoor activities is easily accessible. Shops are 4 miles away in the village of Llanfair PG (full name Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch!) and in Bangor 6 miles.
