Visitors' boats may be launched here and there are facilities for boat hire, wind-surfing and pony trekking within 5 miles. Salmon and sea trout fishing can be arranged locally and there is excellent hill-walking, bird watching and varied sea-life, including otters, to enjoy. Accommodation overview: Bramble Cottage is located on the Isle of Cumbrae; one of the smallest islands close to the North Ayreshire coastline. The island is only 4 miles long and 1.5 miles wide. This beautifully presented detached house sits on the fringe of a new development and has a lovely open view over farmland from the front of the house. Downstairs has under floor heating, with oak flooring. The lounge has a large, comfortable corner sofa and lovely bay window to enjoy watching the sun setting. French doors lead from the lounge into a separate dinning room. The kitchen is large and spacious, with a family room to the side, both with patio doors leading out onto a decked area to the back of the property. The garden area here is grassy and fully enclosed by a fence. The first floor is carpeted and cosy, with spacious bedrooms. From the single rooms you glimpse the sea and from the double rooms you have a lovely view West across farmland. The garage can hold one car or alternatively be used as a play space with fold down table tennis. The village of Millport is within easy walking distance, it has small shops and hotels, with bars and restaurants.

Accommodation overview: This charming lochside cottage is idyllically located within the historic conservation burgh of Inveraray and enjoys beautiful views of majestic Loch Fyne. The cottage is on the ground floor of a terrace known as 'Crombie's Land' - a listed building dating back to the early 1800's, where Neil Munro, the famous Scottish novelist and poet was born. Lovingly and sympathetically restored, the cottage has been beautifully furnished and finished with maple flooring and a mix of modern and antique styles to give it a romantic feel. There is parking just outside and a garden seat to enjoy the view. The property may suit visitors in standard wheelchairs or those with walking difficulties.

Accommodation overview: Pansy Cottage is a quaint detached property located in the heart of the small village of Furnace. The village sits on the side of Loch Fyne, a long deep sea loch renowned for its fantastic wealth of sea life. Over 100 years old, Pansy Cottage was formerly the pump house for the local stone built iron furnace, hence the villages name. The 150 year old furnace is now a ruin and managed by Historic Scotland. The pump house was converted and extended into a comfortable, cosy home. The lounge/diner has traditional thick walls and a cosy wood burning stove.
