Accommodation overview: Lochview sits on the outskirts of Appin and has a great view across farmland to Loch Linnhe, the island of Lismore and in the background are the mountains on the Isle of Mull. This semidetached bungalow has been recently upgraded with beautiful, all new fixtures and fittings, providing crisp, modern facilities. The lounge/dining room has a leather suite, wooden dining table and chairs, with a lovely electric focal point fireplace. The kitchen has oak veneer doors, black worktops/splash backs and coordinating appliances. From the kitchen you are led out into the back garden. Accommodation overview: Tucked away in beautiful peaceful surroundings on a quiet single track road, Spring Cottage is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday and for exploring Loch Linnhe, the nearby island of Lismore, the local area and further afield. The cottage is a well used and favourite holiday home, the sunny bright room on one level are simple, informal and comfortable. The large tranquil garden slopes down over rough ground to the shore. Guests can enjoy the wonderful views across the water from the deck beside the shore, the sheltered bay is ideal for children. Deer, seals, otters, pine martin and a huge variety of birds including the sea eagle have been seen around the cottage. Spring cottage is 1.5 miles frin picturesque Port Appin village with its well stocked shop, craft shop and pub and hotel serving excellent locally caught seafood. The area is a wlkers, cyclers and kayakers paradise. Enjoy low level walks locally or the challenge of Glencoe, hire bikes, take the ferry and explore Lismore Island or try some mountain biking in the forests, launching your kayak from the shoreline. Horse riding, fishing and boating are all available nearby. Oban, Mull, Iona, Inverary, Fort William and Mallaig are all within easy reach.

Accommodation overview: Enjoying beautiful views of Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour hills, this attractive property is on a small private estate and stands in a private, secluded garden just 30 yards from the private foreshore. Visitors' boats may be launched here and there are facilities for boat hire, wind-surfing and pony trekking within 5 miles. Salmon and sea trout fishing can be arranged locally and there is excellent hill-walking, bird watching and varied sea-life, including otters, to enjoy. This would be an ideal base for exploring the West Coast or for a quiet, relaxing 'get-away' holiday. There are several good local hotels nearby. Shop and Post Office 1 1/2 miles at Duror.

Accommodation overview: In a spectacular position, close to the shores of Loch Linnhe with panoramic views over the loch to the mountains of Kingairloch beyond, this charming semi-detached cottage is part of the original ferryhouse which is approx. 240 years old. With a fascinating historical background, the ferryhouse has been sympathetically modernised to create a holiday home of unique character with several features put back as they might have been originally. The large sunroom takes advantage of the wonderful views and the rooms are traditional and plain in style. There is an enclosed garden to the front and rear where a path leads down onto the beach. Bed linen and towels provided.
The very picturesque village of Port Appin is an ideal base for exploring and Oban is within a 40 minute drive. Day trips can be enjoyed to Glencoe and Fort William or by taking the passenger ferry from Port Appin across to the island of Lismore. Cycle and boat hire can be arranged locally and other activities include fishing, pony trekking and hill-walking. The village shop is 30 yards from the property and there are two excellent restaurants nearby.
