From the coastal path it is possible to experience the drama of sheer cliff faces and numerous walks with stunning views, taking in Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Seaton and Lyme Regis. Paignton, part of the stunning Riviera, is situated on the South Devon coastline in sheltered Torbay. It is very popular with families and couples looking for a quiet break and the Paignton, Torquay and Brixham beaches are without doubt the best in the bay - they are gently sloping, very sandy, protected from prevailing winds, with a choice restaurants, bars, ice cream kiosks, beach shops and marine activities.
