Set in an area of glorious scenic beauty at the heart of the Peak District National Park it lies between the villages of Tissington Parwich and Bradbourne and 5 miles from the charming town of Ashbourne. Locally there is excellent walking and cycling on traffic free trails pony trekking is available less than a mile away and Carsington Lake's water sports and fishing are 4 miles. Alton Towers Splash Landings Chatsworth Haddon Hall Sudbury Hall (N.T.) are within 15 miles. Pretty villages close by boast welcoming inns and tea rooms and a pub and shop are 1¼ miles.
