Accommodation overview: This idyllic detached cottage is situated a few miles from the charming villages of Bradworthy and Kilkhampton, offering a pub (several in Kilkhampton), shops, post office, church, and fish and chip shop. The friendly owners live opposite but offer visitors freedom to enjoy their stay without intrusion. Peaceful and relaxing, the cosy cottage is ideal for couples and is set in a rural position in the lane of a working farm offering lots of lovely walks direct from the property. Plenty to see and do in the area and within walking distance of the Tamar Lakes which offer a variety of water sports and fishing, as well as excellent walking. The small sandy coves of Sandymouth and Duckpool and the larger beaches at Bude are approximately a 20 minute drive. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are ideal for a day's adventure. Other attractions in the area are RHS Rosemoor Gardens at Torrington, Appledore, a small fishing village on the Taw and Torridge estuary is worth visiting, from here you will be a short drive to the village of Instow where you can sit and relax in the sand dunes or hire bikes and cycle along the Tarka Trail.
