Accommodation overview: THOUGHTFULLY CONVERTED BARN IN LOVELYTRADITIONAL VILLAGE This barn conversion has been transformed with much care and attention having been paid to enhance many of the original features, such as exposed stonework and natural beams etc. Situated in a quiet and pretty spot opposite a small 15th century church (with bells, but not rung!) and nearby farmhouses, this barn offers peace and tranquillity with beautiful views across the valley. Only 20 minutes from the beach at Westward Ho! and 30 minutes from Bude, the North Cornwall coast, ideal for surfing, sandy beaches and rock pooling at low tide. Also with the new Taw Bridge in Barnstaple the beaches of Croyde and Putsborough Sands are all easily accessible. Other attractions nearby include walking, golf courses at Torrington and Holsworthy (10 miles), RHS Rosemoor Gardens and Dartington Crystal at Torrington, Clovelly with its steep cobbled steps and pretty harbour, Hartland with its rugged coastline and quay area, various family adventure parks such as The Milky Way or The Big Sheep and cycling on the Tarka Trail. For those who wish to stay closer to home, why not enjoy by arrangement a walk through the farm where with permission you can fish for trout along a stretch of the River Torridge. Alternatively just sit and enjoy the country views from the conservatory or the enclosed garden.
