Accommodation overview: Stables Cottage is a lovely cottage nestled beautifully between Eskdale and Liddesdale and close to the River Esk one of Scotlands greatest salmon fishing rivers as it winds its way to its estuary at the Solway Firth. This delightful old steading dates back to 1850 and was once the stables to the home of the head forester but has now been sensitively restored retaining the charm of the original building, yet boasting all modern comforts ensuring your stay is comfortable and relaxing.All of the windows have attractive views of either the woodlands or the lovely countryside and the charming gardens to the main house.
