You will be within walking distance of the beach at Carlyon Bay and a stone's throw from the coastal footpath which will lead you down, with stunning sea views, to the picturesque harbour village and beach at Charlestown. Often used as a film set, it is home to period, rigged ships and Shipwreck museum as well as many delightful pubs, restaurants and shops. The spa at The Carlyon Bay Hotel is the perfect place to unwind. The championship 6500 yard golf course set high on the cliff edge is a must for all golfers and the bars at the hotels in Carlyon Bay are all open to non-residents. Cornwall can be easily discovered from this central location with easy access to Lands End, The Lizard Peninsular and the resort of Newquay with its Blue Reef Aquarium and wide, sandy beaches, ideal for surfing.
