Boat and fishing trips can be enjoyed along the Fal River to Truro along Helford River or across the Fal River to the picturesque town of St Mawes with its castle. Loe Beach or Mylor yacht harbour just 6 miles away offer a range of water sports. The sub tropical gardens of Glendurgan and Trebah are a short drive whilst the Eden Project the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the National Trust property of Lanhydrock are a little further afield. The fine surfing beaches of the north coast are easily accessible - Perranporth being 13 miles away. Village shop and pub 1 mile.
