Accommodation overview: Built in the 1920s, and with a certain Art Deco style, this detached holiday property boasts amazing, far reaching sea views stretching from Rame Head all the way along the South Cornwall Coast to Looe Island. The main feature of this house is the position, with the large verandah; truly a wonderful seaside holiday home, set in an elevated position on the cliff above Seaton beach. There is access to the coastal footpath, and many country and coastal walks from the house. Seaton beach is just 400 yards, which has a small summer shop, beach café, pub and restaurant. Thirty nine steps to entrance/conservatory. Large living/dining room with open fire. Well-equipped kitchen. Both rooms with patio doors to large decked verandah with sea views. Approached via a private road, the property is set in a quiet and peaceful location in the popular village of Downderry, whereby you will be only a few minutes stroll to the pub, shop and restaurant. The area is popular with walkers with lovely cliff top walks taking you in different routes along the picturesque coastline. For boating lovers, the large parking area offers facilities for storing a boat as well as parking for up to 6 cars. You will be ideally placed for touring the whole of Cornwall with attractions to suit all tastes being within a short drive. These include historic Plymouth, The National Marine Aquarium, The Eden Project, numerous National Trust properties and gardens, The Tate Gallery at St Ives and the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth. In the evenings enjoy the lovely sunsets directly from the garden, stroll the beach, relax in the conservatory or enjoy a BBQ. The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard and offers FIVE bedrooms: many with stunning sea views. Enjoy the facilities the village has to offer with its pub, restaurant, shop and sandy beach being just a few minutes stroll away. This area is famed for its lovely scenery and keen walkers will enjoy the cliff-top walks of the Cornish coastal path. Travel further afield and enjoy the many attractions the area has to offer, including historic Plymouth with its Hoe, Barbican, Theatre and National Marine Aquarium, less than 20 miles away. Other easily accessible attractions include numerous National Trust houses and gardens, The Eden Project, Bodmin Moor and the fishing villages of Looe and Polperro. In the evenings relax on your own private balcony and enjoy the breathtaking views. The accommodation is approached by steps from the off-road parking bay and occupies the first and second floors of the house (there is a self-contained annexe on the ground floor with separate access).
