Each of the properties are named after one of the family's pedigree herds. Farm activities: you will be able to watch the daily farming activities and enjoy the pet's corner with rabbits and guinea pigs. Games barn: with a full size pool table and table tennis. Shared utility room: situated adjacent to the barns housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. All holiday properties are situated in the same area and are set within a 2-acre site with landscaped grounds which have individual seating areas, barbeque and children’s play area. This is a lovely wooded, secluded, rural spot on a non-working farm which is close to beaches and tourist areas. The Long Barn (GLP) brims with character and charm, and boasts a split-level living arrangement and cosy open fire. The Stable (TE1), one of a pair which have been converted, has an open-plan living area which has been designed to take in the full height of the building with an exposed beamed ceiling, traditional gas stove and French doors leading out to its own terrace with extensive countryside views. Billy’s Barn (TE3) was formerly the goat house and this characterful barn has exposed stone walls with a comfortable sitting area with traditional gas stove for cosy evenings, and its own outside seating area for alternative relaxation. Accommodation overview: Beautifully converted from a Victorian barn, these two cottages are situated off a quiet lane close to the hamlet of Treggidden, which is centrally located on the famous Lizard Peninsula. Furnished and equipped to a high standard, they adjoin one another and nestle amidst 14 acres of grass and woodland (which the retired owners run as a hobby farm) with a small stream forming the southern boundary. Just 10 miles from Helston and 23 miles from Falmouth, this area of Cornwall is well known for its wealth of wildlife, many NT gardens, sheltered sandy beaches and romantic coves. The tranquil wooded coastline running up to the Helford Estuary offers some of the most spectacular walks in the south-west. The owners live with their dogs on the farm, which is run as a retirement hobby. In addition to horses grazing the land there are chickens and ducks with an oguage garden railway in the orchard.
