There is an excellent inn (serving food) half a mile away and shops pubs cafes restaurant takeaway and cycle hire in Hope (1 mile). The famous Blue John caverns Mam Tor and Peveril Castle are at Castleton (2 miles); golf fishing Derwent Valley Cycle trails and summer swimming are within 5 miles. Chatsworth Haddon Hall Bakewell and Buxton 12 miles and all Peak District attractions within easy reach. Alton Towers china factory tours and bargain shops in the Potteries within 30 miles.
