There is excellent walking in the Howardian Hills and the nearby North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Use of a tennis court behind the holiday cottage is included. The bustling market towns of Helmsley (9 miles away) and Malton (11 miles away) are both easily reached from the property, as well as Flamingo Land Zoo and Park which is a great day out for all the family. There are excellent walking and cycling opportunities direct from the village itself or close by in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park areas.
