Within 2 miles is Haytor one of Dartmoor's most spectacular crags and from whose summit glorious views can be enjoyed. Newton Abbot (8 miles) boasts a renowned racecourse excellent golf sports and swimming facilities Trago Mills leisure and shopping complex Bradley Manor (N.T.) and the charmingly unusual Prickly Ball Hedgehog Hospital!
