Inland there are many historic houses, Forde Abbey and Gardens, Killerton House and Gardens, and Montacute House and Gardens to name a few. Family attractions at Cricket St Thomas Wildlife Park, Fleet Air Arm Museum, the Haynes Motor Museum and Crealy Adventure Park, or Exeter cathedral city with its catacombs, shops and restaurants is not too far.
