THE SITUATION: It's in a delightful village Langthwaite, beloved of TV producers and film makers in the recent past. It's bang in the middle of Yorkshire's remotest dale and perhaps its most scenically stunning. THE SECLUDED GARDEN: Detatched from the cottage this extends up the hillside from a lower patio (see photos) to a top patio with summerhouse affording magnificent views along Arkengarthdale from Calva to Kitley. 9more photos). The summerhouse not only boasts the usual patio furniture but also has light and power. The path is automatically lit at night by solar powered lights.

Accommodation overview: Within the Yorkshire Dales National Park and tucked away in a sleepy hamlet, this lovely property is an ideal base from which to walk direct from the door amongst the surrounding stunning scenery, or for al fresco eating alongside Arkle Beck, which runs adjacent to the cottage. The property provides cosy and comfortable accommodation for relaxing in, or alternatively from which to tour the Dales, with the Georgian market town of Richmond (famous for its theatre and wide cobbled market place) and Bowes Museum just a short drive away. The beautiful city of York, with its Minster and narrow streets packed with antique and curio shops, is easily accessible for the day. Shops 3 miles, pub 10 yards.
