Accommodation overview: Hope Cottage is a Grade II listed end of row flint cottage built in around 1850. Renovated and attractively decorated throughout, this holiday property maintains some original character features and has a charming, enclosed gravelled garden backing onto water meadows. Long Melford is almost as well-known for its shops as it is for its splendid architecture. There are an astonishing number of independent shops to buy quality goods of all sorts, including the many antiques shops for which the village is famous. Within walking distance are Kentwell and Melford Hall, both well worth a visit. Surrounded by many picturesque and historic towns and villages there is much to do and see. Shop and pub 50 yards.
