Accommodation overview: A cosy thatched cottage with roses round its door (left of photograph), Little Holme is typical of the pretty properties which make Lustleigh one of Devon’s most picturesque villages. One of a pair centrally set on the village green, close to the church and the Primrose Tea Rooms (famous for its superb cream teas), it is convenient for the village shop, inn and restaurant. An ideal holiday location for walkers, with walks from the front door and on the surrounding moorland, which offers riding, bird-watching and touring (Widecombe, Chagford and Haytor are all close by). Teignmouth 30 minutes by car. Lustleigh hosts excellent country fairs every May Day and August Bank Holiday. Many excellent restaurants in Chagford and Ashburton. Shop 30 yards.
