Cycles can be hired along the Pentewan Valley (6 miles) and golf is available at Carlyon Bay (13 miles). Truro a cathedral city boasting interesting shops restaurants and theatre lies within easy reach (19 miles) and the National Trust's Lanydrock house and garden is also well worth a visit (22 miles).
