Accommodation overview: This 200 year old whitewashed detached stone cottage is set within 1.5 acres of cottage gardens and separate walled garden area. Situated down a quiet country lane in pretty countryside with dry stone walls, small bridges over tumbling rivers and lovely rolling hills this area is a real backwater, yet only 6 miles from the centre of Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. Craigellachie Cottage has lots of original features, including thick stone walls, deep silled windows and a cosy wood burning stove. It is beautifully presented and attractively furnished, with a modern kitchen boasting granite work surfaces and solid wood cabinets. The gardens and grounds are a real feature of the property. To the front and sides there is a lawned area with shrubs, surrounded by an attractive old stone wall. Outside the kitchen is a patio area with tables, chairs and a good sized BBQ. There is a large walled natural garden adjoining the cottage, which is mainly grassed with mature trees and shrubs. It is a lovely addition to the property and ideal to relax and enjoy a picnic and outdoor games. There are many places of interest and historical sites within easy reach.

This charming wood-lined lodge is presented to a high standard throughout and offers bright and attractive accommodation in a quiet country setting a real retreat. The modern, well-equipped kitchen opens out onto a good-sized dining area with uninterrupted views across open farmland. Deer, pine martin and a variety of birds can be seen direct from the windows. A large verandah and decked barbeque area surrounds the lodge and provides a superb outside dining and relaxing area. Situated on the edge of Delnies Wood, there are wonderful walks and trails direct from the property, yet it is also easily accessible to nearby towns and villages.
