Accommodation overview: DETACHED LODGE IN SMALL DEVELOPMENT CLOSE TO PORTHTOWAN BEACH This delightful property is set on a small development just a short walk from the beach, shops and pubs in Porthtowan. The village nestles in a narrow winding valley flanked by impressive granite cliffs, a haven for keen walkers. The village itself is small, but has a couple of good pubs, and shops as well as a good surfing beach. Positioned in one of the most popular parts of Cornwall the beach itself is huge at low tide extending to St Agnes Head in the North and joining up with Chapel Porth Beach. Exposed to the Atlantic coast it produces great surf with powerful hollow waves. If you wish to go further afield there is much to see and do with many seaside towns and villages to explore, Padstow, Rock and St Ives to name just a few. Other popular family attractions include: The Eden Project at St Austell, Maritime Museum at Falmouth, Lands End, Newquay Sealife Centre, Cornish Gold world and numerous National Trust properties.
