Attached to the owners’ home and set well back from the road, it is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The high vaulted ceiling gives a light and airy feel, while outside is a secluded patio and garden shared with the owners. The area offers many scenic walks, bird-watching, riding, cycling and fishing. In the village is Monk’s House (NT), former home of Virginia Woolf. Lewes, with its castle, 3 miles. Newhaven (with day trips to France), 5 miles. Brighton, with its charming blend of seaside attractions is a short drive away. Shops 4 miles. Pub 200 yards. Bathroom with power shower over bath and toilet. First floor: Living room with sofa-bed (for +2), French doors and views over South Downs.
