Accommodation overview: This impressive house stands proudly in three and half acres of land, which is divided into formal garden and the remainder is beautifully landscaped. Elegantly furnished, it is steeped in charm and character, with the oldest part of The Lodge dating back to 1831. The property includes an open fire in the drawing room, an Aga in the kitchen and tastefully decorated bedrooms. It has been lovingly refurbished by its current owner to create a relaxing and stylish environment, and is perfect as a location for family celebrations.
The Lodge is ideally situated for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk. The historical market towns of Diss, Lodden and Wymondham are well worth a visit, as is the unspoilt north Norfolk coast with its pretty coastal villages. Alternatively spend a day enjoying the Broads. The Suffolk Heritage coast and the popular seaside towns of Southwold and Lowestoft are less then 30 miles away, whilst closer is the fine city of Norwich, 6 miles, with its cathedrals, museums, theatre, excellent shopping and cosmopolitan cafes. Thetford forest is only 10 miles for adventure walking and cycle routes. Golf and walking are available locally. Shops 3 miles, pub and restaurant 750 yards.
