Accommodation overview: Just 5 minutes' walk from Ditcheat's splendid pub serving food and the village shop this comfortable little cottage is perfect for walkers and cyclists as the national cycleway runs adjacent to it. Set in the grounds of the owners' home it lies within easy reach of a host of places of interest. Cheddar Gorge Wookey Hole Wells and Glastonbury are all nearby as are Castle Cary an old and pretty town of honey coloured stone and Street with its Clarkes shopping village. National Trust properties at Stourhead and Montacute are a delight and a beautiful walled garden at Hadspen Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton and Sparkford Motor Museum are well worth a visit. Golf tennis and swimming locally.

Accommodation overview: A PEACEFUL SANCTUARY IN BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS. SLEEPS 4+3Set on a non-working farm on the edge of the quiet and peaceful village of Ditcheat (home to Paul Nicholls race training stables and Barbers cheeses) and surrounded by stunning views of the rolling Somerset countryside, Creech View Cottage offers a tranquil haven within easy reach of many local attractions and places of interest, such as Longleat, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, The Bathand West Showground, Haynes Motor Museum Glastonbury and the historic towns of Bath and Wells. Eating out locally is also a real treat, with several excellent traditional country Inns and restaurants very nearby. The accommodation comprises of TWO bedrooms: both offer wonderfully comfortable super-king-size 'Sealy' beds (which can also be made up as twins beds on request). One bedroom is situated upstairs, the ground floor bedroom and bathroom are wheelchair accessible. Upstairs offers a large mezzanine landing with a single sofa bed also available on request. Bathroom: both bedrooms offer separate shower rooms, WC, and towel rails. Lounge/diner: large separate room situated downstairs, benefiting from huge double-storey feature windows and patio doors leading to the garden, flat screen TV with DVD, CD and a selection of books. DVDs and board games provided for entertainment. Kitchen: fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, fan assisted oven/gill/hob, microwave and washer/dryer. Outside: there is a large private enclosed south-facing garden and patio area with BBQ. Amenities: ample parking for several cars and also a designated parking space for the cottage. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included (additional heating charge of £25 per week from October- April). Strictly no smoking or pets. Additional info: for larger parties, there is further accommodation in the owners four star bed and breakfast on-site. A security deposit of £50applies and is payable directly to the owner on arrival. Location: beach 35 miles, pub/shop and restaurants under 1 mile. Arrival: 4pm.
