The Dovecote dates from the 17th century, and retains original hand carved stone dove boxes. This detached Grade II character cottage has been carefully refurbished to provide a relaxing and romantic holiday home. Bedale, at the foot of the magnificent Yorkshire Dales, is a 5-minute drive; Ripon, Thirsk and Catterick races are 20 minutes’ drive and Wetherby races, 30 minutes. Shop and pub 750 yards.
