Enjoy some of the finest beaches in the West Country from sheltered rock pools to long sandy surfing beaches. There are numerous unspoilt villages to explore with little shops, tearooms, galleries and restaurants. An ideal base for exploring the whole area including The English Riviera, popular Dartmouth and the city of Plymouth with its cinemas, ice skating, theatre, Hoe, Barbican and National Marine Aquarium. Closer to home are the villages of Start Point and East Prawle, which is the most southerly point of Devon and home to a popular pub as well as rare birds, butterflies and wildlife. Hallsands, with its intriguing history and unspoilt cove, is a perfect base for walking, shore fishing and exploring the coastline, as well as East Portlemouth from where you can catch a small ferry to Salcombe.
