Accommodation overview: Alpine Lodge is a detached cottage, situated on the west facing hillside overlooking Loch Lubnaig within the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. The Lodge has a well equipped kitchen open plan to the dining/lounge area. The lounge area has a leather suite, patio doors and windows facing west overlooking the loch. There is a downstairs bedroom and bathroom, with a further two bedrooms upstairs and a shower room with coombed ceilings. Two of the bedrooms have double beds whilst the third has twin beds. The porch provides a good space to store and dry outdoor apparel. There is a private aspect to the south with 2 acres of hillside and countryside to enjoy. A short walk over the road and through a meadow (3 acres) gives access to the loch side for fishing (permit required) or to just enjoy and relax. Boats or canoes can be launched into the loch. The village of Strathyre is only 2 miles and offers a shop/post office and a number of good places to eat and drink.

Accommodation overview: Beautifully situated in a picturesque and secluded location, on a quiet lane 2 miles off the main route through the Trossachs, this charming old cottage enjoys magnificent views over the river and valley to the surrounding mountains. Retaining much of the original atmosphere and charm it is comfortably furnished in a complementary manner and all rooms are on ground level. There is a large, secluded garden with patio area and garden furniture.
Strathyre and Balquhidder are 2 miles away with shop, hotel and gourmet restaurant. Within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, this is the perfect spot for a romantic and relaxing break or an activity holiday. The property has free private trout fishing on the nearby river and the adjacent lane is part of the National Cycle Network. This is a haven for walkers or climbers with 20 Munro's in the Park as well as networks of paths and tracks and nearby Loch Earn is Scotland's premier destination for water sports. Ideally placed for touring with easy access to the West Coast, Loch Lomond, Glencoe, Stirling, Glasgow and the lochs and glens of Highland Perthshire.
