Accommodation overview: Aldersyde is a large detached traditional stone built house sitting on the hillside overlooking the quiet coastal village of Tighnabruaich on the Cowal Peninsula. Aldersyde has space for all the family to spread out and enjoy their holiday. There is a games room with table tennis and pool table, plus a small childrens playroom with toys and games. The kitchen leads into the lounge which provides a very sociable area for everyone to be together. There is one bedroom downstairs and three further bedrooms upstairs. The two double bedrooms upstairs have a view to the sea. The large garden is fully enclosed with a lawn to the side. The sea front is within 200 metres, at the bottom of the hill and the village shops and eateries are only one mile away. The small selection of local shops includes a grocery, cafe, post office, bank, gallery, craft shop and hotels with pub and restaurants. There is a local 9-hole golf course, tennis courts and a sailing school which you can see from the house.

The bungalow sits within the village of Kames on an open, elevated position, facing east out to the Kyles of Bute. The property has a lovely large decked area to the front, where you can enjoy eating out or to just relax and unwind. Accommodation overview: Glenahuil provides the perfect get-away from it all location on the stunning Cowal Peninsula. The 130 year old modernized detached farmhouse sits on a hillside surrounded by a 50-acre working farm. There are spectacular views south of the Island of Arran, Inchmarnock and Bute from all the ground floor reception rooms. There is a spacious living room with open fire and leather sofas, a separate dining room with space for everyone to sit around the table comfortably, a fully-equipped kitchen with table and benches for four, and a newer conservatory with smaller table and three chairs as well as a 3-piece suite. The bathroom and shower room are also on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms with coombed ceilings and velux windows, two with double beds and one with three single beds. The house has a private water supply from a well in the forest at the back of the property. The house is completely private, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The approach to Glenahuil is by a three quarter mile track from the shore road around Ardlamont Point. There is a lovely sandy beach approached by a nice 20 minute walk across the moor.

Accommodation overview: In a beautiful setting on the Eastern shore of Loch Fyne, this lovely house offers complete seclusion in large private grounds amidst wonderful Highland scenery. The lawn leads directly to the lochside with tremendous views down Loch Fyne towards Arran in the distance and there are a number of good walks along the shore and through the woods behind the house. Guests with appropriate experience can have use of a motorboat during the summer months and an indoor heated swimming pool all year round. This is an ideal base for a large group of family or friends with plenty to do on the doorstep and the beautiful county of Argyll to explore. Glasgow Airport is less than 2 hours drive. There is an indoor heated swimming pool (30'x15') plus sauna and shower. The pool area is surrounded by double glazed doors looking on to the terrace and garden. The large games room has a pool table, table tennis and a selection of indoor and outdoor games. From 31st March to Nov 3rd, a motorboat is provided which can be used from the private pier (weather permitting and subject to suitable experience). Private slipway and mooring facilities are also available. On the large lawn, there is a children's swing, and plenty of room for children to play and enjoy their bikes. You can fish from the shore or from the motorboat. There is a sailing school at Tighnabruaich. The interior of the house is very spacious, with comfortable homely furnishings. Shops 3 miles by boat to Tarbert, or 8 miles by road to Tighnabruaich. Pub/restaurant 5 miles.

There is a large grassy garden (1 acre), which can be enclosed, and is shared with Carnethy Bungalow next door - a great property to book together with Airy Cottage to accommodate the gathering of up to 12 family and friends.
