Keswick, a popular tourist town in the beautiful Lake District, is a good year-round destination, and offers shops and restaurants for all tastes, as well as parks, miniature golf, the Theatre by the Lake and a cinema. The lovely Derwentwater lake is a few minutes walk from the town, and there are walking, hiking and climbing trails for all abilities beginning in or near to Keswick.
