It has recently been refurbished to a tasteful, high standard and provides both families and couples with excellent accommodation in a beautiful area. Yorkshires Premier Multi Award Winning Lavender Farm and gardens are situated right opposite Almond Cottage in a spectacular hillside farm of nearly 60 acres, within the Howardian Hills which is an area of outstanding natural beauty and is free admission. Terrington itself is a large village parish with a fine Norman church and looks along the Howardian ridge eastwards towards Castle Howard and Malton. It is a perfect base for a relaxing holiday whether you are keen walkers, cyclists or simply looking to relax and unwind.
