Cairngarth is an attractive, detached sandstone cottage near to the village of Heads Nook, in the upper Eden Valley. The spacious accommodation is suitable for 2 families on vacation together or extended families looking to explore the Eden Valley, Hadrians Wall, the Scottish Borders and the Lake District. Although a rural village Heads Nook is only 8 miles from Carlisle city centre and 5 miles from the M6, the peaceful country lanes are perfect for cycling and there are 3 golf courses nearby. There are numerous pubs and good restaurants in the area, the closest is 2 miles.
