Common Hill Cottage is an old fashion little cottage, set on the hill above the pretty village of Steeple Ashton. It is approximately 300 years old and is furnished to provide comfortable accommodation with classic character and charm of the original building. Beamed ceilings, large inglenook fireplace with open wood-burning stove and some modern conveniences make this an inexpensive location from which to explore this beautiful area, including the Spa City of Bath. To the front is a small cottage garden and to the rear open fields and country views. Bath, the Salisbury Plain and a multitude of attractions are all within easy reach, and the centre of Steeple Ashton with public house and shop is only half a mile away. Further afield are Salisbury and Salisbury Plain, Devizes Longleat House & Safari Park, Stourhead House & Gardens, National Trust village of Lacock, Castle Combe, Rode Tropical Bird Gardens. Local walks, Inns and shop 1/2 mile. .
