The promenade extends into Silloth and is perfect for gentle walks or exercising the dog. Situated on the boundary of Skinburness and Silloth, on the Cumbrian Coastal Way, a haven for wildlife with bird sanctuaries and nature reserves dotted along the estuary. The Victorian seaside town of Silloth, with its cobbled streets, amenities and amusements is within walking distance, approx 1 mile. There are also 2 holiday villages in Silloth, with swimming pools and leisure facilities, one within a few hundred metres.
