World famous Sissinghurst Castle Garden is just through the village and the nearby market town of Cranbrook with its working Smock Windmill is full of specialist shops - including delicatessens, gift shops, art gallery, restaurants, pubs and much more. Trains for London in one hour from nearby Staplehurst. There are so many attractions to choose from within easy reach from this central Kent village - the Rare Breeds Centre at Woodchurch, Bedgebury National Pinetum and Go Ape, Bewl Water for watersports, the Kent & Sussex Steam Railway at Rolvenden to name a few, plus historic Rye and the wonderful beaches at Camber are an easy drive. Garden: Third of an acre with garden furniture and charcoal barbecue.
Parking: On drive at the front of the house - space for three cars.
Heating: Gas central heating and wood burning stove.
Also Provided: Wood for the stove. There are fruit trees in the garden - apple, fig and damson and raised beds with soft fruit and vegetables - please help yourselves.
Notes: Maximum occupancy eight adults and one child. No short breaks.
