Buxton is a quiet and peaceful village in the River Bure valley. The Bure Valley Steam Railway is the county's longest narrow gauge railway running from the historic market town of Aylsham, stopping at Buxton and continuing on to end at Wroxham, the Capital of the Broads. There are many miles of quiet lanes and public footpaths for walkers and cyclists to explore in the area. The village is well served with its two pubs; the Old Crown has a very good restaurant, a village shop with off-licence, fish and chip shop, post office and hairdressers.

Millers Lodge is situated in the Grade II listed Buxton Mill. The mill has been beautifully converted to provide tasteful, modern and spacious accommodation whilst still retaining the charm and character of the old building. The second floor apartment is at the front of the mill and looks across the road towards the mill stream and water meadows. The surrounding countryside is very peaceful and full of wildlife, with riverside walks and fishing virtually on the doorstep. This really is a property for all seasons. The accommodation is attractively furnished and comfortable with excellent facilities and the amenities of Buxton village only a short distance away. Shop/Pub: 0.5 miles

Notes:The mill is situated on the road that runs through the village. The apartment is on the second floor of the mill, access is via the lift or stairs. There is an entry phone system for visitors. Due to the proximity to water this property is unsuitable for children under the age of 10. Small babies are welcome, please bring your own travel cot and advise on booking.
