Situated in the pretty village of Newton Reigny, The Courtyard has the benefit of a village location with views over open countryside to the Lakeland Hills, not least Blencathra (also known as Saddleback) from which the cottages derive their names. Converted from a traditional stone built barn each cottage has the comfort of a modern built property with the character and period features of a traditional building including solid Oak beams and feature stone walls. Newton Reigny is a quiet retreat in a great location, 15 minutes drive to Ullswater, easy access from the M6 and plenty of amenities in the nearby market town of Penrith. Also close by are the historic city of Carlisle, Hadrians Wall, the unspoilt Eden Valley with its picturesque villages and the Scottish Borders.
